"After a couple of workshops with Jeff at the Bright Festival of Photography I decided I really like his style and teaching method. If you haven't been to the area, he will take you to some great spots to shoot. Jeff is adaptable and happy to change the schedule to suit the weather conditions and the wishes of the group. We didn't have the best weather conditions but still managed to get some shots even if they weren't the ones we got up for. The group (incl Jeff) had a lot of fun during the workshop which made it even more enjoyable. The accommodation was great. Thank you Jeff for a very informative, instructive, enjoyable and good fun 5 days..."

"Jeff's Alpine Winter Workshop was an excellent experience. Jeff is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and more than willing to pass this on to participants. He was very flexible and made the most of the conditions, finding the best locations to shoot during each outing. His hands-on teaching during field trips was excellent, providing many insights into composition and learning to see subjects amongst, what at times appeared to be chaotic scenes. The theory sessions were informative and I feel I learnt a lot about processing images.
Jeff is a great communicator and provided lots of useful information prior to the workshop, which assisted in making the most of the workshop.
Jeff was able to accommodate the individual needs of the participants and I feel that I learnt much that I can apply to my future photography. Although the workshop was a good length, I was sad for it to finish.

"I had a three day one-on-one workshop with Jeff in May 2023. Jeff's teaching style is uncomplicated, fun and effective - I can certainly see the difference in my before and after workshop images.
Being a local Jeff knows the best locations for the weather / time of day and we photographed accordingly. In those three days we had fog, sun, snow and rain and Jeff knows the best place to be for them all. I came home with more variety of images than expected too. Jeff’s processing skills are similar to his teaching style, uncomplicated and effective. Look forward to another workshop with Jeff next year."
